About Campus

about campus logo About Campus is a professional magazine designed to serve as a catalyst for educators in colleges and universities to thoughtfully examine a variety of issues, policies, and practices and how they affect the quality of undergraduate education and students' learning. Articles are directed to relatively wide audiences - student affairs educators, faculty, academic administrators, and so on - who share a common commitment and responsibility to fostering student learning and success in all aspects of the undergraduate experience.

About Campus offers an exciting and eclectic mix of articles to engage educators in exploring issues related to helping students learn. Feature articles provide an in-depth look at issues in a range of areas affecting undergraduate education. In Practice articles describe how to implement innovative campus practices to achieve institutional and departmental learning outcomes. Assessment Matters articles examine state-of-the-art strategies to determine whether students are learning what educators want them to learn. Campus Commons articles offer personal narratives that model how educators who work in a variety of contexts approach the daily challenge of promoting learning. Media Montage articles synthesize multiple media resources that educators can use in college and university settings to enhance student learning. Bottom Line articles are strong persuasive essays that bring readers' attention to and offer solutions for a particular issue affecting student learning.

The magazine is published bimonthly in February, April, June, August, October, and December. ACPA members receive About Campus as a member benefit. Non-members are welcome to subscribe.
