About ACPA Believes/I BelieveWe invite you to write your personal philosophy statement (I Believe) and share with your colleages as a part of ACPA Believes. Influenced by the 1950s radio show by Edward R. Murrow and the National Public Radio Series, and reintroduced in 2006 by Allison and Gediman, This I Believe, the ACPA Believes/I Believe project encourages educators to a align personal beliefs with professional practice grounded in scholarship. To commemorate our anniversary, we want to highlight what ACPA has done for 85 years - live its stated values. And, the best way to celebrate this is to invite all members to share personal philosophies which guide their lives and work. Your submission may be featured on the Web site or included in publications to inform, motivate, and inspire college student educators.
