Involvement Open Meeting: Exploring Our World of Student Involvement
1pm to 4pm: Marriot Marquis – International 9
1pm-2pm: Technology in Student Involvement
Sarah Robbins from MediaSauce will be presenting on technology through
all four of our functional areas. What are our students really getting
into? Sarah presented this information at AFA and it was mind-boggling
how much is really out there….it goes way beyond MySpace
and Facebook.
2pm-3pm: Panel Discussion on the State of Affairs
in Involvement
There will be representatives from AFA, NACA, ILA, Service Learning
Groups, and more. They will all be discussing what is going on within
their individual areas and how collaboration can exist.
3pm-3:30pm: Presentation on the Multi-Institutional
Study of Leadership
Dr. Susan Komives from the University of Maryland College Park will
be sharing a short report out on the Multi-Institutional Study of
Leadership.
3:30pm-4pm: Functional Area Discussion Groups
Direction of the Commission and separating into four functional
areas for discussion.

Tuesday April 1st: Commission for Student Involvement Open Meeting: Learn, Share, Join
2:30pm to 5pm: Hyatt Regency – Regency Ballroom V
2:30pm: Denny Roberts will be speaking on the History of the Commission of Student Involvement and Looking Ahead to the Future
The Rest of Our Open Meeting: Introduction, How to Get Involved, Collaborations, Direction
