Webinars and Book Discussions: Every year CAE offers a variety of webinars and web-based book discussions to help keep your assessment skills sharp! Last year we hosted topics, such as Framing Assessment for Career Services and Developing a Culture of Assessment. Interested in any particular topic, books, or article? Contact email@example.com with your ideas. The schedule for the upcoming academic year is in development and will be published mid-summer 2016.
Online Learning: CAE’s Online Learning team has been excitedly exploring the possibilities presented by ACPA’s new MyPROfolio system. We are seeking to identify and meet the assessment education needs of our members through the development and use of online education modules specifically tied to the ACPA/NASPA Competencies. This project is in the early stages of its development, but if you have any thoughts, insight, or would like to be more involved, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Articles in ACPA’s Developments magazine: CAE will publish a series of four pieces in ACPA’s Developments magazine that focus on the professional reflections of student affairs practitioners on assessment. Also in progress is a piece titled “Myths of Assessment.” Look for these articles coming soon to Developments.
2016 Residential Curriculum Institute: CAE also collaborates with the Commission for Housing & Residential Life to bring you the Residential Curriculum Institute. The 2016 Residential Curriculum Institute will be held in Tampa, FL from October 16-19, 2016.
