These are dynamic times in higher education law, policy, and social justice. Compliance issues in higher education have changed our landscape—from free speech issues to Title IX to immigration law and policy to violence on campus, etc. The dynamics of legal change push us even more to consider the social justice implications of our work. What new law and policy directives might we see at the federal and state levels?  What is “Compliance University” and how will it continue to develop?  Professor Peter Lake will discuss these important topics and provide the ACPA members with important legal and compliance updates with special attention to the values and principles of ACPA and its critical role in advancing social justice in our field and in our communities.
