Program Description
In this century, student affairs professionals are helping to prepare students to live and work in a global society. This means the profession needs to gain a global perspective and understanding of other societies, especially their educational systems.
Are there differences between student services in other countries?
What do you need to know in preparing today's student?
The 2007 International Student Affairs Study Tour Program focused on South Africa. Participants also learned about student services in the South African higher education and student affairs administrators and student leaders. It was a fabulous two-week tour with colleagues and friends. Visits included Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durbin, Robben Island, the Apartheid Museum, the Nelson Mandela Museum, and the Hector Pieterson Memorial Museum.

Who particpated?
The trip included 32 participants in the Summer 2007 tour.
