

Dr. Dafina Stewart is an Assistant Professor in the department of higher education and student affairs at Bowling Green State University (OH). Her current research is the exploration of multiple identity intersectionality among students of color at both predominantly White and historically Black institutes. Other research interests include identity integration and the role of spirituality in identity development; the historical experience of African Americans in higher education through oral narrative, and sectarian higher education. Dr. Stewart received a B.A. at Kalamazoo College, and an M.A. and Ph.D. at The Ohio State University.
