Description: Institutions across the country hire qualified students to serve as student leaders in Resident Assistant (RA) or Community Assistant (CA) positions. Students who accept these vital positions need to have an understanding of what they have gotten themselves into! This webinar will provide information that is both specific and generic to the RA position. Although it is not required, it is suggested that participating institutions spend 30 minutes following up with the webinar attendees after the program, to review specific information regarding the position on their campus.

More specifically, this session will assist participants in coordinating efforts to prevent, deter and respond effectively to bias and hate motivated by bigotry and prejudice.
