Accepting Nominations for JCSD Editorial Board
The Journal is currently receiving nominations for service as a member of its Editorial Board. We are seeking individuals with a research background and a record of scholarly productivity. Members of the Editorial Board review manuscripts submitted for publication consideration by The Journal of College Student Development (JCSD). Self-nominations are welcomed.
During the spring, new Editorial Board members will be appointed to replace some of our current members whose terms on the Board expire. Please give special attention to nominating educators with significant scholarly experience and a record of publications in our field and scholars from historically underrepresented groups. A list of current Editorial Board members is available at www.jcsdonline.org.
Please forward the nominee’s name, title, address, telephone number, and any comments you have about the nominee. You do not need to write a letter of nomination. A name and contact information is all that is required at this time. You may e-mail (jcsd@vanderbilt.edu.edu), fax (615-343-7094), or mail (JCSD Nominations, Box 414, Peabody College, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN 37203) this information.
Nominations are due by January 5, 2009. After receiving the nominations, nominees will be contacted to determine their interest. Interested nominees will be asked to submit a resume or vita, complete a research interest form, and identify two references. A committee from the JCSD Editorial Board will review the completed applications and develop a list of recommended candidates. These recommendations are submitted at the ACPA Annual Conference in late March-early April.
Thank you in advance for your assistance in identifying strong candidates for the JCSD Editorial Board.
