The SCM awards committee gives 3 awards each year. The three awards are the Harry Canon Outstanding Professional, the Outstanding Men's Program, and the SCM Outstanding Research Award. We have completed our screening process for this year. Special thanks to Mitch Nasser and the rest of the committee members who helped with the screening process. The recipients of these awards will be announced at the ACPA Awards Luncheon. We look forward to posting this information shortly.
Informatin about this year’s award winners will be announced and posted after the conclusion of the 2007 Joint ACPA/NASPA Convention!
All nominations should be no more than 750 words detailing why the nominee is regarded as exceptional, their research is exceptional or their program is exceptional. Resumes and other supplemental material will not be accepted. The following information must be included in the nomination in order to be considered: 1) the award for which the individual is being nominated, 2) the nominee's name, address, phone number, e-mail address, institution, and membership number. 3) the nominator's name, title, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, and institution.
Possible areas to include (but are not limited to) in the text of the nomination are: 1) research interest and initiatives, 2) professional contributions, 3) service to campus, community, or professional association regarding Men's Issues

by November 14, 2006 via e-mail.
