The Standing Committee for Men (SCM) has chosen to publish our annual Newsletter online. The newsletter is a PDF (Portable Document Format) file. If the Adobe Acrobat program is not installed on your computer you may download a free copy from Adobe Inc. Special thanks to Patrick Dockins and the rest of the committee members who contributed to our current Newsletter.
Men On Campus are a series of research briefs completed by the SCM. We have recently adopted new submission guidelines for Men On Campus briefs. We expanded the range of Briefs to include three areas: Research, Practice and Thought. It was the committees hope that these expanded categories would encourage more dialogue on men's issues as well as expand the resources available to student affairs practitioners. We strongly encourage all members of our community to submit briefs for review. Special thanks to Paul Brown for leadership developing the new briefs submission guidelines and the rest of the committee members who helped complete this years research briefs.
The SCM has collected our past Newsletters and published them below. The original newsletters had to be converted into electronic copies with a computer scanner. While the content of all of the newsletters remains the same some of the formatting was altered during the conversion. We would be happy to send you image scans of the original newsletter which retain the original formats. Unfortunately many these will download slow on many computers. If you are interested in receiving a a paper copy of these Newsletters please contact the SCM Webmaster.
