Power, Passion, Purpose is the theme of our 35th anniversary.  We’ll be
  incorporating that theme into our Sisterhood Social this year, to be held on
  Monday, March 31 from 9:30-11p in the Hyatt Hanover F.

  This year’s social will be elegant and fun.  SCW Directorate members will be
  wearing shades of purple to the event, whether it is clothing, scarves, shoes, etc. 
  We encourage you to come to our event in purple as well to help celebrate our 35th
  anniversary in style!  Mingle with other SCW members and former and current SCW
  Directorate members while eating some delicious food!

  Some of the special events planned for the evening are:
          *Announcing the SCW Award winners
          *Quilt squares
          *Commemorative photos (available online after the event) so you can
             remember the fun times shared!
          *Silent Auction
          *A photo montage of past SCW events and members

  For the Silent Auction, we are asking current members and Directorate alumnae to  
  consider bringing an item to the social.  In years past, items have included both hand 
  made and donated items such as books, cards, etc.  Money generated from this event 
  will go to the SCW Contingency Fund which helps fund SCW initiatives such as the
  EmpowHer Fellow program.  If you are interested in donating to the silent auction,

  Lastly, if you have pictures of SCW women or events from the past 35 years we want  
  to include them in our photo montage. Please e-mail your photos to
  scwpictures@gmail.com  Please include approximate date, location, and names of 
  those in the pictures.  If you don't have an electronic version, email the address 
  above and we can send you information of where to send them. We promise to
  return them to you by mail or at the conference.
