A Message from Our ChairWelcome and thank you for visiting ACPA's Standing Committee for Graduate Students and New Professionals website! As the largest constituency within ACPA, graduate students and new professionals have a loud voice within the association and represent the next generation of student affairs practitioners and scholars - and we hope that you will be a part of it! The Standing Committee for Graduate Students and New Professionals (SCGSNP) works at convention and throughout the year to advocate for its members, shape the future of the field, and provide resources and services for you, our constituents! I hope you will take the opportunity to join our listserv, read and write for our quarterly newsletter, The Eighth Vector, and get involved in our Committee! SCGSNP is here for graduate students and new professionals hoping to learn more about the profession, make connections in the field, and be prepared for the next step! We offer scholarships, awards, the Case Study Competition, and are known at Convention for our successful Convention Colleagues program. I hope you will find this site to be useful in learning more about the standing committee and our role within ACPA.
