To Subscribe to the ListservsThe Latin@ Network (LN) Listserv and Student Affairs (CSP-Jobs) Listserv are really NOT listservs, but mail reflectors. However, they both function much like listservs. To be added to the LN Listserv, please click here for instructions For the CSP-Jobs Listserv, please contact Dr. John Hernandez at hernandez_john@sccollege.edu. Please do not send your request for these administrative functions to the entire listserv. About the LN ListservThis listserv is a primary mode of communication among members and friends of the LN. Some suggested purposes of the listserv include:
Our mail reflector serves the same function as a listserv. Conversations can be discussed along the network by replying and posting messages to the list address. Please feel free to email appropriate and relevant messages to the LN Listserv . Currently there are over 100 professionals subscribed to the listserv. Disclaimer: The LN Mail Reflector does not screen sent or forwarded messages nor is the organization responsible for email opinions that are expressed by individuals on the listserv. YOU SHOULD POST JOB ANNOUNCEMENTS TO OUR OTHER LISTSERV (CSP-JOBS LISTSERV), WHICH IS USED SPECIFICALLY FOR JOB LISTINGS. About the CSP-Jobs ListservThe CSP-Jobs Listserv was set-up as a mechanism to assist individuals who are hunting for a job (or who are curious about the job market) in student affairs. This listserv originally included graduate students in the College Student Personnel program at University of Maryland, College Park and later incorporated interested members of ACPA's LN . It now has over 100 individuals subscribed from throughout the United States. Anyone can post a job announcement to the CSP-Jobs Listserv by sending an email to: <csp-jobs@umail.umd.edu>. When you send a message to that address, everyone on the listserv will receive the email message. Currently, there are approximately 100 individuals signed-up on this listserv. Additionally, the CSP-Jobs Listserv automatically receives job postings from Rick Ramirez's California Student Affairs Network (CSAN), which provides an on-going list of job announcements (mostly in California, Pacific Northwest, and Southwest United States). Please do not contact Rick Ramirez to be removed from the CSP-JOBS LISTSERV since Rick does not administer the listserv. LN |
