Call for Latino Network Leadership Positions As all of you know,
a conference just
doesn't happen. It
takes lots of
months of planning
and many volunteers
to make it
happen. Interested
in getting involved?
There are many
opportunities to get
involved with LN to
include assisting the
placement chair with
placement goodie bags,
and volunteering for
the annual community
service event. It’s a
great way to meet new
colleagues and network.
Nominations for awards given by the Latin@ Network are being accepted for presentation and recognition at the ACPA Conference in Atlanta, GA. Any member of ACPA or student (undergraduate or graduate) attending an ACPA member institution may nominate a fellow member for the following awards: John Hernandez Leadership Award and/or Community Advancement Service Award (CASA Award). Nominees must fit the criteria for each award as designated under award descriptions. Please follow the instructions below for nominating candidates for the awards:
Please submit two letters of support and provide information detailing the supporting criteria for each nomination including the length of time the candidate has served at the institution. Feel free to attach a resume or other materials to the nomination.
Please include your name, position, institution, contact phone number and email address, as well as contact information for the nominee.
In your letter please include a quote about the nominee that can be read during the awards presentation if she/he is selected.
