Fall 2007
Dear Members:I hope everyone is enjoying the start of this fall 2007 academic year. Our next Breakfast Series “Partnering with parents and families” will be on Thursday, October 18th from 8:30-10:00am at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. We are working on scheduling one more Breakfast Series before the new year. Details will be sent via the list-serve.
With our new and energetic board members, we are planning the 2008 CPAC Drive-In Conference on February 1, 2008, at Metropolitan State College of Denver, CO. We are excited to have Dr. Jesús Treviño as our keynote speaker, Associate Provost for Multicultural Excellence, University of Denver. In addition, CPAC is planning more breakfast series and socials throughout the year. If you have any great ideas or if you are interested in hosting one near your institution please contact VA Hayman, VAHayman@rmcad.edu.
Last year was a great year as President-Elect. I’m currently out with my new son, Tristan, but I’ll be participating in CPAC throughout my maternity leave. Thank you for your continued support and all that you do for the organization.
