Welcome New Exec Board Members!

A Message from the President of MCPA

Thank you to everyone who voted for our new executive board members.  I’m happy to announce the results of our new members on board:

President Elect:  Lorrie Budd from Loyola College

Treasurer:  Michael Puma from Loyola College

Newsletter and Website Coordinator:  Edward Wright from Mount St. Mary’s University

Membership Coordinator:  Megan Rowe from Loyola College

Member at Large:  Guy Davis from Towson University

Member at Large:  Crystal Hollenbaugh from Mount St. Mary’s University

I would also like to publicly thank the hard work from our outgoing board members.  I cannot imagine there is a single member who has not interacted with Emerald Christopher, outgoing Membership Coordinator, whose excellent organizational skills have helped with membership efforts.  Mike Post, as outgoing Past President, has provided much leadership not only to the organization but to our state in general.  Peter Paquette, outgoing Treasurer, keeps us honest and in the black, his efforts actually have a monetary attachment to them.  Heather Burke, outgoing Newsletter and Website Coordinator, did well beyond the scope of her position and has kept our website up to date from Boston for the past semester.  Katie Murray, outgoing Member at Large, has done amazing work with our Support Staff Conference for the past two years, and Corey Bailey, outgoing Member at Large, has put in an endless number of hours to make our graduate school fair and fall conference a success.   I hope they know the work with our association is not done.

And for those of you out there who want to get more connected, please contact me.   I was happy to meet many new faces at the ACPA convention and look forward to meeting more of you!
