Linkages- the official newsletter of MCPAWhat is Linkages? Linkages is the official newsletter of the Maryland College Personnel Association. It is distributed twice a year, once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Linkages is successful because of the wonderful contributions of Student Affairs professionals in the Maryland area. I want to be involved! How can I submit an article? Anyone can submit an article for Linkages by sending their Word document article to Edward Wright. He will format all articles into the appropriate style for the newsletter. When is my article submission due? The Fall 2009 edition of Linkages will be available for the 2009 MCPA Fall Conference on Friday, November 6, 2009. For this to happen, all articles are due by Friday, October 16, 2009. *October 16, 2009 is also the deadline for award nominations for the conference. What should be the subject of my Linkages article? Articles can be about anything in higher education and student affairs that you think other professionals will find appropriate and useful. The articles can focus on best practices, programs you have developed on your campus, how you and your campus are responding to current issues in the state, experiences you have had in the field, or any other topic you can think of! As the author, you choose what knowledge you would like to share with your colleagues. Do you have any examples of past articles? Yes! Below you will find some of our past issues of Linkages.
