Membership Involvement
There are several opportunities for involvement in MCPA - for
graduate students, young professionals, and seasoned
professionals. Your level of involvement will depend solely on
your interest. As an MCPA member, the following opportunities
are available to you:
-
MCPA Board Member - The MCPA
Constitution dictates the term of office for all elected
and appointed positions on the MCPA Board. Notification
to the Association of open Board positions occurs by
February each year. Nominations are traditionally
accepted through mid-April and elections traditionally
occur in late April or early May. For more information
as to Board positions, term of office and
responsibilities, see the
MCPA Constitution
(Article III, Sections 1-11).
-
Annual MCPA Conference Planning Team -
MCPA is proactive in its approach to its annual
conference. You are invited to serve as a particular
Chair or committee member in the planning of this
wonderful annual event. For more information as to
potential involvement in planning the annual conference,
contact 2007 Conference Co-Chairs,
Dara Hagen or
Kristy Modrow-Ullah.

have the opportunity to consult and share information
with your statewide colleagues through the
