It's the First Annual MCPA Fall Conference Talent Show!!!

"So, you think you can dance?" You've thought about trying out for American Idol? You're a pro with Guitar Hero down in your basement?! Maybe you took music lessons as a kid or played in the high school band?

Now is your time to shine and have the trophy to show for it!!!

If you have a "real" talent and want to show it off, or even if you don't and just want to show off, plan on participating in the Fall Conference Talent Show!!!

We'll take ANY talent - from amateur to semi-pro, air guitars to real guitars, solos to group performances!!
There are no tryouts, just sign-up when you check-in at the conference!
You will need to bring any instruments, props, equipment, etc. although we will provide a CD player/sound system.

Trophies will be awarded and FUN will be had by all!!! Feel free to challenge other schools or departments within your institutions!

The Talent Show will take place from 9:00-11:00pm on Monday evening at the hotel (exact location TBD). For more information contact the Conference Co-Chairs, otherwise we look forward to seeing you on stage at the conference!

Silent Auction!!

Along with the Talent Show, Monday evening’s social will include a Silent Auction. The money raised from the auction will go into a newly created scholarship fund for MCPA members to pursue professional development opportunities including conference attendance, etc.

We need your help! Please consider donating to the silent auction. Here are some ideas:

§ School gift baskets (including mugs, key chains, t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. featuring your school’s logo)
§ Gift certificates
§ Homemade items (blankets, quilts, art, cards, etc.)
§ Vacation destinations (time shares, etc.)
§ Books related to our field
§ Speaking engagements
