Description: As emerging professionals in higher education continue to stem from diverse identities and backgrounds, it is important to highlight how digital communities can provide space, community, and connection points for practitioners. This webinar will showcase how two digital communities—the Men of Color in Career Services and the Women of Color in Career Services groups—champion professionals from varying backgrounds, center success around personal narratives, and provide opportunities for deeper connections in the digital space. Participants can learn how these communities were formed and facilitated by its creators in addition to learning the value and relevancy of the groups from current participants.
