Institute on the Curricular Approach™

ICA 2020 will formally recognize the broader applicability of the Approach by changing the name of the institute from the Residential Curriculum Institute to the Institute on the Curricular Approach. We continue to see more and more colleagues apply this Approach in functional areas beyond residential life and as entire student affairs divisions. This name change formally recognizes that shift in interest from participants and acknowledges the applicability of the Approach to all learning beyond the classroom.

The ACPA Institute for Aspiring SSAOs: Exploring Underrepresented Identities and Career Paths will explore ways in which our diverse backgrounds (such as gender identity and presentation, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and physical/cognitive qualities) impact our move to and experience within an SSAO role. This event is for professionals with 5+ years of experience.

Compliance U: Four Corners of Title IX Seminar

Compliance U: Four Corners of Title IX Training (TIX 201) is a live 2.5 day module providing intermediate (and some advanced) level instruction in the Title IX pathways. Pre-work will be completed in a hybrid format. The course is a prerequisite for all Title IX pathways including the mastery certificate.
